Nursing games are showing some positive results: Among those who passed the most difficult unit test in a nursing class, most of them played the test preparation game. The game was designed specifically for this difficult test.

Second-term Nursing students like the Second Life OB Role-Play Simulation conducted last Friday, February 12, 2010. This is the first education application for me after several years of research and development in the Second Life virtual world.

I'm the AVP for Educational Technology and Distance Learning at the Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida, responsible for all instructionally-related technology implementation and integration, as well as ovverseeing the distance learning operation serving 1400 distance students.
Previously. I was the Dean of Academic Technology at the Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, where I continued R&D on interactive academic gaming which led the campus to be recognized as one of the Campus Technology Magazine's 16 Technology Innovators in the nation in 2006. I founded the university's Online Campus in 2006. Prior to SAU, I was the Director of Instructional Technology Center, and Assistant Professor in Information Technology Management at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, the nation's first laptop campus. Seven years at UMC gave me numerous opportunities to research and innovate .
