Being warned by the evening forecast , we're bracing for a nasty wintry mix overnight. When I woke up at 5 am, I was treated by a pleasant early morning surprise! It was snowing and the ground was white all over. We're told the night before that a nasty wintry mix would shut down the entire area for the day. Indeed the university was closed till noon. Carina and I spent some fun time with snow before sunrise for fear it would be all over by then. Yes, she did her favorite "angel" in the snow! It was quite a while since we last enjoyed snow in Minnesota.
